03.10.11 Money Saving Smartphone Apps

Today, as I was catching up on my internet reading, I came across a bit of info I wanted to share with you guys.  CNNMoney.com had a recent article about 5 great money saving apps for your iPhone or Droid.

1. GasBuddy – Finds gas stations near by and lists the price per gallon.
2. ShopSavvy – Barcode scanner that alerts user about possible better deals.
3. Grocery iQ – Allows user to scan barcodes of groceries in pantry to generat grocery list.
4. The Find – Similar to ShopSavvy. Also gives coupons to retailers.
5. Shop Lucky – App from Lucky Magazine let’s you check it’s top deals and availability online and at nearby stores.
